Bass FAQs

What age can my child start bass guitar?

Most kids start bass around ages 8 to 10, when their hands are big enough for the longer neck. Many start on guitar or ukulele first.

Do I need to play guitar before bass?

Not at all. Bass is its own instrument and many students start directly on bass.

Do you offer lessons for adults and beginners?

Absolutely. We welcome complete beginners through advanced players, for kids, teens, and adults.

Where are you located? Is parking available?

We’re in Central Lonsdale, North Vancouver (221-117 E 15th Street). Free street parking is typically available.

 

Are bass lessons private?

Yes — every lesson is one-on-one, focused on your goals, from groove and timing to advanced technique.
