All you need to know before scheduling your first lesson

No prior preparation or equipment is needed. You can use our instruments for your first lesson. If you have played before, you are welcome to bring any music books or sheet music you have previously used.

You can book a trial lesson directly through our website. We offer time slots Monday through Friday from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM, and Saturdays from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM. The trial lesson is a relaxed, introductory session. The instructor will assess the student's current skill level, discuss musical goals, introduce basic concepts on the instrument, and ensure the teaching style is a great fit for the student.

You can cancel or reschedule your trial lesson by using the rescheduling link provided in your confirmation email, or by logging directly into the Opus1 portal. We kindly ask for at least 24 hours' notice if you need to make a change.

Yes! We provide all necessary instruments for your trial lesson. There is no need to bring your own, though you are welcome to bring sheet music or books if you have played before. Once officially enrolled, we recommend having an instrument at home for consistent practice.
